Ready for a break that rejuvenates your mind, body, and spirit?
Then you won’t want to miss out on my “The Body Confidence Doorway” retreat!
In my daily life, I’m a coach and hypnotherapist, and I have been pushed to my own edge through menopause to finally, more deeply than ever before, embrace my body with love, acceptance of wonky bits, and confidence.
I LOVE this work and that’s why I’m sharing this!
This retreat is all about discovering the joy of self-acceptance and the magic of mindful eating, set in the beautiful Cornwall countryside.
Swipe through the images to get a sneak peek into the serene environment, the luxurious accommodations, and the enriching activities planned.
This is a one-time-only opportunity to step away from the chaos, reconnect with yourself, and return home feeling revitalised and ready to embrace life with a new perspective.

Answers to ALL your burning questions:
Is this spiritual? What is this 'ceremony'?
The “I Do” ritual isn’t necessarily spiritual, unless you want it to be. It’s existential.
Think of rituals and ceremonies you have used to mark a moment in your life.
- A big birthday celebration.
- A wedding anniversary, or wedding itself.
- A graduation.
These are moments when we are witnessed by other people in our turning points – celebrated, seen, and our potential acknowledged.
Some people see these moments as big shouts to the Universe that “this is me”.
Other people see these moments as an internal shift, a stepping up and stepping into an identity.
A way to kickstart the unconscious to move forwards into who we want to be.
Is this 'woo woo'?
Training in positive self-talk is highly practical.
Fostering sustainable health for ourselves is almost impossible if we are in a ‘not good enough, must fix myself’ or even a self-punishing, strict mentality.
This weekend is all about flipping the mental switch into a virtuous circle.
Will I have my own bedroom?
YES. Unless you ask for it to be otherwise, you’ll stay in luxury and snore as much as you like. Well, I will!
Will I have to get undressed?
YOU will be in charge of your state of dressedness.
We do not have any nude or semi-clad group activities planned, so you’d never be under pressure to parade around in a bikini, or without one, in front of other people.
You may be asked to meet, look at, or touch your own body parts, eg your belly, in your own room.
Can you meet my dietary requirements?
Alice’s cooking is typically vegetarian or vegan, but with our own private chef, we can cater for all dietary requirements. If you need something particular, just ask.
I can't do stairs/have access needs
There are a variety of rooms, upstairs and downstairs, so ask me, and I’ll try to create as accessible an experience as I can for you.
I have asthma, can I still do breathwork?
Yes you can.
Ask me, and I’ll put you in touch with Retta Bowen for a chat, she’ll talk you through this and any adaptations you might need to make in your technique.
Is hypnosis safe for me?
Yes, except if you have a history of psychosis, schizophrenia, or epilepsy. Those are the only contra-indications (and things my insurance won’t support).
What is hypnosis? Will I see my 'past life' or cluck like a chicken?
No we won’t! Definitively.
We don’t deal with past traumas or memories using hypnosis.
And we won’t ‘make’ anyone do silly stuff against their will.
I’m a cognitive behavioural hypnotherapist – past stuff is NOT my kind of hypnosis (and I think it’s dodgy).
You can watch some videos about the kind of hypnosis I do here. It’s part of my signature online programme, Overeating Understood, but I have unlocked them for you.
