Love helping people with their wellbeing?
But can’t GET THEM to follow your food advice?
FOOD PSYCHOLOGY
FUNDAMENTALS
shows you how to enable your clients to change their overeating and binge patterns.
Celebrating 10+ YEARS as a certified food psych coach.
Registered Hypno-CBT® practitioner.
Registered Hypnosis practitioner.
Certified Binge & emotional eating specialist.

They’ve been trying to sort out their eating and binges since forever.
They swing from yo-yo dieting…
…to reading alternative, intuitive-eating-style books.
Every new thing seems like THE THING for a while.
But eventually they cave, regain weight, panic.
At this point, your clients feel like they have zero ability to follow advice from experts like yourself. Even if it’s solid. Evidence-based. Or even based on personal experience.
The idea of ‘starting a new thing’ right now? They just can’t! They don’t do the homework you set. They ghost. Or they rebel, binge, and say “it didn’t work!”
After a lifetime of trying and failing, they have accidentally acquired the psychological patterns of an Overeater.
I mean….
Does this sound like your clients?
The gap between what they ‘know they should do’ – and what their unconscious mind ACTUALLY does – is worlds apart.

🍜 You’ve told them the ‘eat when you’re hungry, stop when you’re satisfied’ idea, yet they still routinely EAT SECONDS, MAYBE THIRDS at dinner.
📺 They have excuses why the just can’t seem to ‘eat mindfully’, and still zone out while watching Stranger Things.
🚗 They say “never again” after binges, but then they get excited by a solo car journey or a holiday – secret eating ahoy!
🍫 They are AWARE when their body isn’t hungry, but they still CAVE IN when they “just want something sweet to finish the meal”.
After decades of this, their self-opinion is rubble.
Their confidence in their ability to change is diddly squat.
And despite your body positive chats, their inner bully still calls them all the fatwords under the sun when they look in the mirror.
I wish all health coaches, doctors, and personal trainers understood this truth:
Overeaters cannot persuade their brains to follow your advice!
So how can you inspire your clients to follow through?

Imagine this, for a second.
As if YOU were the client.
Imagine you could close your eyes right where you are, and your mind told your body “Hey, Body, you’re great.”
(Maybe you need to hear this yourself too!)
“You’re a valuable person, worth spending time on.”
Imagine if your brain automatically felt a sense of gladness for the natural genius of this mostly-healthy body.
If you felt like You, and Your Body, were the same team.
If you did healthy things, as a gift to your body.
Now that’s the kind of positive outlook you can build on.
And, with the right tools and coaching techniques, you can be help your clients adopt it, and live by it.
Yes: You can build and build their ability to tap into their own wellspring of POSITIVE MOTIVATION, so you can finally…
Stop being the coach who encourages and ‘loves up’ their client while they work with you, but still doesn’t equip them for a lifelong approach –
– a Food Psychology approach –
– where they learn to self-validate and grow as an eater, and to unlearn their binges and overeating patterns over time. Eating a bit better, forever

Some days it was a family-sized tin of chickpeas, doused with olive oil. Some days it was a dozen samosas for lunch. Then: sleep, sleep, sleep.
I’m Laura.
Recovered binge-eater, and child of wholefoody parents.
People who say “nobody ever binges on broccoli” are ill-informed.
After a decade of coaching bingers and overeaters, I can tell you: Every eater’s relationship with food is unique.
Personally, I binged on bulky wholefoods some days. Other days? Jam doughnuts.
I was bulimic and bingeing for 7 miserable years. I was hopeless, and desperate.
Until the Universe threw me a miracle: I found an old Saturday Guardian magazine under my bed.
In it was a full-page advert for a CBT & hypnotherapy pack.
Over two years of psycho-re-education, I set to work to understand the beliefs, thoughts and emotions behind my overeating.
I finally believed I could change – because the hypnotherapy, which I listened to on repeat, gave me trust in myself to learn and evolve.
I studied Hypno-CBT® and food psych.
I specifically certified as an eating psychology coach. But I didn’t just want to coach clients into short-term changes.
I hated the ‘SMART goals and accountability’ type of behavioural coaching, that doesn’t get under the skin of your emotional and nuanced relationship with body and food.
I wanted to equip and empower clients for an ongoing lifestyle change, where they could have their own coach, in their head.
Above all, I didn’t want them to depend on me for their motivation!
That’s why I’m passionate about food psychology being a pathway – it’s a lifelong journey that starts with a paradigm shift.

Introducing…
FOOD PSYCHOLOGY FUNDAMENTALS
It’s time for a psychological upgrade!
Switch to a lifelong self-care approach. Equip your clients with pscyho-education tools, eating technique, & and experience for yourself powerful, enjoyable hypnosis.
Don’t just take my word for it!
Here’s what Susie C. said. She’s a coach who applied this programme to herself over four months:
“Laura was the BEST weight loss coach I’ve ever had – and I’ve worked with a few.
Why is she so good? Because she helped me see that focusing on the goal of “weight loss” won’t solve the core reason that I am overeating: My unconscious patterns and emotions where I feel I need to ‘handle’ my anxiety through food.”
You will get self-study materials AND 1:1 hypnosis:
You’ll experience this food psychology work by reflecting on yourself as an eater first.
AND THEN, armed with that embodied experience of the techniques, and excited by the changes you’ve personally had, you’re given the tools and templates so you can share them.

Ready to shake sh*t up?
Here’s how it’s done…
There is a process you go through, and it has 3 pillars.
1. It starts with a BOOK.
A wide-margin, illustrated textbook/workbook that you’ll start scribbling in, and highlighting. Food Psychology Fundamentals.

2. You hop over to the ONLINE COURSE.
At the heart of the programme are ten, bitesized, paradigm-shifting coaching videos with Laura. These debunk the false expectations that derail every diet or intuitive eating approach your clients try!
You can help anyone believe that changing their overeating and bingeing is possible.
And give them the exact self-talk they need to think positively and create enthusiasm.
3. You begin using HYPNOSIS.
Alongside the book and the videos, you’ll start to use hypnosis and leverage your unconscious, change your habit brain for good, and experience firsthand your mind’s power when it becomes a creative learning centre.
Then, when you’ve finished the self-study part of Food Psychology Fundamentals, you’ll book yourself in for your 1:1 session and have individualised coaching and hypnosis with me, over Zoom.

You’ll also get these
3 Bonus mini-courses
worth £199 each:
Bonus #1:
Binge Diminishing online mini-course plus Binge-focused section of Planner –
Getting clients to know their binge patterns and cycles (or just your ‘Fuck-It’ patterns – and deconstructing them, is a radically different promise to ‘stop bingeing now’.
As a health pro, you need to feel confident giving your clients – bingers and yo-yo dieters alike – robust psycho-education.
As you may know, bingeing is a cycle, but you also need to know how to help clients wiggle each link in the chain loose.
So understanding the body’s emotional messages, and breaking habit change down into small chunks, is essential.
I’ll show you how in this 60-minute mini-course. You can devour it in one evening.

Bonus #2:
What are Hypnosis and Self-talk? Mini-course
Your clients are already hypnotising themselves, by scrolling, imagining that everyone thinks they’re fat and unworthy, and by comparing themselves to people they see on TikTok. Creating fear and panic with your imagination.
This course will teach how to educate your clients about their unconscious. It’ll get you clear as a bell on what hypnosis and self-talk actually are.
So you can start using these tools, including the visualisation scripts provided, right away.
Bonus #3:
1 printed School of Food Psychology planner. You’ll take yourself through it – and then see how to step-change eating technique.
10 tiny action steps to actually implement Intuitive Eating & Mindful Eating principles of tuning into hunger, satisfaction, and undistracted eating until they are second nature.
This Planner also includes special sections on Binge Diminishing.

which comes with
Quickstart Using Your Planner video course – master the School of Food Psychology method, which is how you’ll learn from overeats instead of drowning in guilt.
It’s a powerful blend of CBT with mindful eating!
You’ll also learn how to Speedjournal and use a super-speedy, 3-minute CBT tool.

Are you ready to reprogramme your unconscious mind around food
and help others to do it?
After working together with me, you will….
- Actively embody self-belief through self-talk – and help clients commit to lifelong lifestyle change.
- Feel confident helping people stop yo-yo dieting and diminish their binges – so they can actually enjoy eating again.
- Add visualisation to your professional toolkit – and understand how to stop your clients trying to use fear and comparison as ‘dirty fuel’ for change.
- Feel sure of the exact action steps to retrain clients’ eating technique – so you can guide them in realistic steps to integrating a mindful, intuitive approach.
- Have switched from a weight-centric approach – and know how to persuade others to do so – so your clients can develop a sustainable self-care practice around food that’s focused on wellbeing – both mental, and physical.
Want to hear what a food psych educated client sounds like?
I am no longer dictated to by food, which I have been my whole life.
I now have a sense of freedom around food and can use it in a healthy way to fuel my body. Food is no longer my ‘emotional crutch’.
Is this the right fit for you?
This is PERFECT for you if:
🍐 You despair of telling your clients which foods are good for them, and need better non-diet strategies around weight.
🍐 You have a client who eats when they’re not hungry, or overeats, or binges.
🍐 You love to really STUDY and use your problems to learn about yourself, and then share your lived experience.
🍐 You like hypnosis, or are curious about the unconscious mind & imagination.
🍐 Your clients have health or hormone issues and they need to support their bodies NOW and adopt lifelong self-care practices.
🍐 You feel called to coach or teach eating psychology as part of your work. You do not need any prior coaching experience.
This is NOT for you if:
❎ Your clients just want to lose a few pounds and don’t care if they regain it later. (The two ALWAYS go together if you use short-term strategies like diets, it’s a two-for-one).
❎ You’re not willing to be your own guinea-pig. (You need to experience it yourself first, it’s essential to have a personal experience of the tools.)
❎ You want a nutrition plan or meal plan to give to clients. (Sorry – I prefer my clients to feel capable of choosing their own foods. But you can work alongside nutritionists!)
❎ You are triggered by weight talk. (This course isn’t weight-centred, but it does take care to address, reconcile with, and talk straight about weight and how to help people not to overeat, as well as binge).
❎ You want hypnosis certification. You will be certified by the School of Food Psychology, and equipped to use visualisation and CBT tools in a coaching capacity.
❎ You have a history of schizophrenia, epilepsy or psychosis. (Sorry, listening to hypnosis isn’t appropriate, but the other tools inside, including the meditation and visualisation, are appropriate for everyone).
Yes! I really want to help my clients around food!
What my clients have to say:
This is the best investment I have made in myself to date and was a life-changing experience.
Laura has a beautifully unique way of working and deeply understanding you and your challenges. Her intuitive sense helped me tease out the unconscious blocks and guide me through a highly transformative hypnosis session.
My bingeing is less extreme and I am much more aware of my emotional triggers so I can manage my emotions better – and hence my bingeing.
I left the call feeling weightless and with perfect clarity of who I am, where I am going, and what I need to do.
I have stopped buying myself a chocolate bar whenever I fill my car with petrol; when I drive on long journeys, I no longer fantasise about stopping at a motorway service station to buy sweets and crisps for the journey.
You can DIY it a little longer and *hope* you’ll win out against decades of your clients trying-and-failing…
…Read one more book on Intuitive Eating principles instead of actually learning to a cultivate the professional skills needed…
…Buy one more cheap £50 meditation app instead of receiving real, specialised hypnosis…
…Make your clients keep food diaries that feel like shameful confessions instead of looking beyond the actual food…
Or you can rebuild their eating psychology from the foundation, right back up again.

Teach them to relearn the fundamentals of self-belief and self-care.
De-complicate your clients from all their diet history. Make eating simple again for their brains!
They’ll stop using self-loathing and desperation as their motivation fuel. They’ll start having fun.
With you, they’ll understand that there’s nothing weak or broken about their brain’s urges to overeat.
You’ll dismantle all the guilt and shame so that it becomes safe to experiment.
You’ll retrain their eating technique in 10 doable action steps – no ‘chew every mouthful 20 times‘ or ‘eat like a monk‘ advice here!

You’ll teach them the difference between saying ‘No’ to your urge to eat restrictively and an empowered ‘No’ from self-responsibility.
You’ll help them get patient and deeply focused on self-repair when it comes to binges.
You’ll start them on the path of genuine, lifelong lifestyle change.
Because, at the end of the day, isn’t that the only kind that really matters?
Got questions? I’ve got answers.
Will I be certified in hypnosis or nutrition?
You’ll listen to hypnosis yourself, but you’ll not be taught to give hypnosis to clients or licensed to use the recordings within this programme in your own work.
There is no nutritional component of this programme.
I’m not in the UK, can I still join?
Yay!
I work with clients from all over the world, the programme is in English.
When you have completed Food Psychology Fundamentals and wish to book a 1:1 session, you will receive a calendar link.
For those unable to attend a live call, the option of video message coaching by Marco Polo, with <15mins of message exchange per week for 4 weeks is also an option.
With that said, I have never not been able to find a time for 1:1 sessions, even if it means me getting up really early.
Are there payment plans available?
Yes. £215 x 2 payments is available.
Upskilling yourself around your eating will save you hundreds on memberships, apps, shakes and personal trainers over the years.
Cost of 1 year of Personal Trainer plus shakes and apps: = £6680
Cost of Food Psychology Fundamentals programme + coaching & hypnosis: £400
Cost of 10 years of Personal Training, shakes and apps: £66,800
(Seem a lot? The fitness industry is worth 90billion dollars/year, the diet industry is worth 23 billion dollars – for a reason!).
Food Psychology Fundamentals cost after 10 years: still £400. BOOM!
I don’t need a whole programme, I just want to stop eating in the car.
We are conditioned to only do part of the fix, every single time.
And we are sold on doing it quickly, with urgency.
So can you be curious about what’s really going on behind that habit of yours?
Because it has a message for you that’s more profound than a bit of habit-hacking.
After working with eating psychology clients for a decade, I stand behind a wholly deeper, more integrated approach.
How long will I have access?
You’ll be able to return to the programme and have access to all the course materials and hypnosis recordings as long as it remains online.
Will I lose weight?
I have 2 questions for you.
Do you think your weight is mostly due to overeating, or that lack of self-care is a contributing factor?
AND
Is your eating itself (not your body size, but your dysfunctional behaviour around food) causing you emotional pain, such as guilt, preoccupation, obsession, regret, self-reproach, loss of self-confidence?
YES – Great. I’ll teach you to stop overeating, and then you’ll see if your body responds to that!
NO or I DON’T KNOW – Hey, I’ll always be real with you about this.
Calories in, calories out – that’s horribly oversimplified.
Hormones, DNA, the amount of sleep you get, your stress levels, gut issues, other health issues, childhood trauma… there are actually so many hidden contributing factors to weight.
Some studies suggest that our healthy actions only account for about a third of factors around weight. A third!
But stopping overeating always makes you feel less preoccupied, so maybe those patterns are yours to break just for your own sanity.
Coaching and hypnosis can help you develop self-care around eating and in your wider life too.
For instance, we may be able to use hypnosis to break other habits which are having a knock-on effect on your weight, eg. Staying up late watching TV.
We can change the behaviours that are within our sphere of influence, and see what happens.

We are sick of this bullshit.
We want to laugh together.
We want to say audaciously self-loving things to ourselves, that make us feel daring, and whole, and like the boss.
We are the thought leaders, and we are here to learn to be powerful decision-makers around food.
We heal our rift with our bodies to send a ripple of energy throughout humankind and down the generations to come.
